I started researching a couple of years ago;lost Interest until my Dad passed 
away in 2003.
Since then has become a bit of an obsession.
The Beckingham name seems to have changed to Beckenham when Zebulon moved from 
Wiltshire to Beddington in Surrey.
I was born and bred in Woodmansterne Surrey;still live in the area.
St Peters church in Woodmansterne you can find quite a lot of my closest 
relatives graves.
Woodmansterne itself has quite a history it self;it is mentioned in the 
doomsday book it is said to once been an Anglo Saxon village.
St Peters church was once portraited by Turner the famous artist this has some 
connection with an old Woodmansterne family(Lamberts).
